Robin holds the following classes of Registration under the NSW Fair Trading scheme:

• building surveyor - unrestricted

• certifier - strata

Robin and the Building Certificates Australia team understand that time directly impacts costs when it comes to development and their goal is to reduce delays and deliver practical development solutions for clients, all within the existing legal framework.

Orlando Da Silva

Director

Orlando Da Silva has more than two decades of comprehensive knowledge and experience in Building Regulations, Certification, Fire Engineering, the National Construction Code (NCC), Fire and Life Safety, advocacy and policy development. He has worked at both Local and Federal Government levels and also in the private sector.

Orlando is also an unrestricted building surveyor in NSW and holds Accreditations in various other states around Australia.

Orlando’s comprehensive understanding, knowledge and relationships within the building and construction industry, combined with this passion for keeping abreast of the ever-changing legislation makes him an invaluable asset on all BCA projects.

Scott KitchinG

Director

Scott Kitching joined the BCA team in 2011, bringing with him over 12 years of experience in working for the Council, as well as in the private sector. Scott is also an unrestricted building surveyor in NSW, specialising in NCC Consultancy for all classes of building, NCC Compliance Reports, Issue of Part 6 Certificates pursuant to the EP&A Act, Dealings and Mediation with Council in Planning and Development Matters, Fire Safety Assessment and Reporting and also Accessibility Reporting.

Tiana McSevney

Building Surveyor

Since joining the BCA team in 2012, Tiana has since obtained a Diploma in Building Surveying at Distinction Level and now specialises in residential Class 1 and 10 buildings, but also works on projects of all types and scales to further her professional growth.

Tiana is highly driven and passionate, always striving to work with clients to streamline the certification process and find solutions to any type of issues that arise quickly and efficiently.
