Changes to fire inspection requirements following audit

There have been changes to fire inspection requirements following the recent audit of building records undertaken by the NSW inter-agency Fire Safety and External Wall Cladding Taskforce. Council Officers are now being tasked with the carrying out of on-site inspections to identified buildings for the purpose of ascertaining the adequate provision of fire safety as defined in Section 4 of the EP & A Act.
