Changes to fire inspection requirements following audit

There have been changes to fire inspection requirements following the recent audit of building records undertaken by the NSW inter-agency Fire Safety and External Wall Cladding Taskforce. Council Officers are now being tasked with the carrying out of on-site inspections to identified buildings for the purpose of ascertaining the adequate provision of fire safety as defined in Section 4 of the EP & A Act.

We appreciate that not every Council boasts the resources to meet the onerous requirements associated with these type of audit inspections.

To assist in this regard, we have assembled an exceptional team of professionals who have had experience in both the public and private building code and certification sectors.

We are able to provide invaluable industry knowledge when it comes to navigating these complex requirements. We’ve previously assisted the State Government with several similar audit inspections across multiple Government sites.

If you feel enlisting our assistance would be of benefit to your Council, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss working with you further.
